James Mitten
DIRECTOR
James has spent a number of years working for a bespoke investment firm looking after two UK Land Funds, where he was responsible for land acquisition, disposal and value enhancement through the planning process. This has given James a strong understanding of the land values in different geographical locations and aided in working with a wide range of local planning authorities throughout the UK.
Additionally, James has spent the last two years working with a local development company, as a director and focused on small scale development and strategic land purchases.
Jon Cummins
CHAIR
Jon has operated as a senior Director for several years and has a vast array of skills, knowledge, and experience. His background includes starting businesses through to being a shareholder and board member of a £50m turnover company. In 2002, after spotting a gap in the market, he set-up two companies. Both were hugely successful and, in 2013, he became Commercial Director at Learning Curve Group (LCG) after their acquisition of one of his companies. During his time at LCG, he created the sales strategies which, by 2020, had more than doubled their turnover and value. After selling his holding in March 2020 Jon is now using both this funding and his skillset for Lantar Developments to support landowners, developers and communities get the best outcomes. Jon also acts as in a voluntary capacity as Chair at two charitable organisations in Cirencester which enable young people to develop a range of sporting and educational skills.
